Bob, is there still a need for all the different pipe widths? Even now, I'm still having trouble understanding their purpose. And by width, I mean "size" or capacity per segment. Are the 20x (like stone pipes) even needed?

Try running an update script in game open the console and paste the following to see if it helps. /c for index, force in pairs(game.forces) do force.reset_recipes() force.reset_technologies() end I updated the mod files first and then turned on pure water. I just enabled pure water with the latest batch of mods and noticed that electrolysis does not require pure water at all. It still runs on regular water.

Distillery is a small (2x2) building which is supposed to distil water (Evaporate and condense), it takes "Water", which I've basically dubbed salt water, or Lithia water, and produces pure water. This is needed for electrolysis recipes. It is only enabled when you turn on the pure water ...

The thing is that in theory... it has exactly same chance of appearing. In practice it seems that it doesn't work like that for reasons I'm not sure about. Only thing I can see would be a lot of water on map which will "eat up" spawns that land in it. I wonder if you could adjust the chan...

True. If I needed the space, that's a good option.

Though I should point out that it's only 1.6 times as many machines to take it from the air because chemical plants have a crafting speed 1.5625x as fast as electrolysers.

I can take a look at frequency of lithia water in RSO. On one hand making it hard to get is ok I think since it's an end game thing (I think?). So travelling few k tiles for it should be ok. Is anyone else missing Lithia Water on the map when running RSO? I think something broke it because I've got a slightly older map which has it. Lithia water should spawn, it's just quite rare (I tend to find several huge patches of gold before finding any lithia, and sometimes even tungsten appears...
