In order to download something you have to send the download requests (upload). That's expected. Download any file off the internet and you see the same thing.

Also, the fact that it uses 600 MB for the base graphics is quite concerning for me, Factorio uses simple graphics. This is roughly what Skyrim uses for everything including high quality graphics. That requirement is disproportionately high compared to the rest, that's a pity.

You have a ping of ~50ms and over 5% packetloss? For me the latency is good for your connection but the packetloss is too much. Perhaps you can check your router if it reports errors.

I actually got a Ping of 53ms with TTL of 6 my Packet Lost is at 5% (that is a really good number for the connection i got.. view days ago i got 30% of Packet Lost - but at the end that makes no difference of the lagging factorio multiplayer)

Problem solved! Netgear routers have a "DDoS Protection" enabled on default which limited udp-packets to max 60 per second. Disabling it fixed it :)

[0.14.2] Video Memory Usage resets to low
The "Video Memory Usage" always get resetted to low on start of factorio. Even modifying in config.ini.
But the VRam usage on my GPU is ~700mb with low setting.
According to the logs, it just load it as low where in the config.ini was medium.
Overriding the the usage by command line doesn't force it ...
