Personally, I think there should be an option to mine rocks with explosives, because shooting them is silly (although fun). Maybe somebody will implement it.

I wonder why blueprints do not save modules that are used in factories. I think it would be nice addition since many builds depend on specific modules you use.

Isn't that what Smart chests are for?

I take items out from storage chests (since I use circuit system as an early game logistic system), and logistic system not being able to put stuff into designated storage chest breaks the integration.
