Re: [Minor feature request] Fluid process as circuit signal
Disagree. Your current solution (using letters) is just as easy to debug.
By the way, in my opinion, you should never enable O if K

How do I quote a post in a locked topic?
How do I make the website generate me a quote of a post that is in a locked topic? (I want to refer to it somewhere else in the forum, the intended way.) When I click the quote button, the website replies that I can't make any posts in a locked topic even though that is not what I'm trying to do.

Having to repeat the first command bugs me.
In order to find a good map, I do the following: -Generate a new map -Command: /c game.player.force.chart(game.player.surface,{{x = -4048, y = -4048}, {x = 4048, y = 4048}}) -Repeat the command. :x -Look into the map view: notice that the map is being revealed in a spiral fashion -If map is good --s...

Re: [Poll] Is it worth switching to electric furnace
Which is better in general? Is it still worth replacing steel furnaces with electric furnaces? What the hell? Why people still using oven over electric furnance? Oven need coal to operate, while furnance get electricity from solar panels. They are space effecient and enabled using for module. Espec...

[0.15.31] Ores overlapping
In the seed 931718537, you can notice both iron ore and coal ore on the same title.
Screenshot: Map generator settings: Default
I think it's a bug because ores are supposed to act like titles, so two kinds of ores should not overlap.

Only publishers like having DownLoadableContents. Everyone else (game developers, programmers and end users) hate them!

Re: Any way to filter liquids..? (+poll)
Tanks won't mix liquids so you could make a setup using the circuit network that maintains a small amount of liquid in the tank so that the tank will not allow liquids other then the original one placed in it to enter. And how do you keep the liquid from flowing out of the tank exatly? It is done b...

Re: Any way to filter liquids..? (+poll)
Just like in real life - you shouldn't mix different fluids in a pipe if you care about separating them. What do you think happens, you can just go from sulphuric acid to petroleum without the two getting contaminated? No, there's other stuff much more worth worrying about. This is Factorio!!! A wo...

Re: 0.15 and Flare Stack Problem
What if you never switch to electric furnaces? You can burn the excess oil in the burners, and you don't even have to replan your burner setup. Two birds with one stone. I bet you will have more than enough ores to smelt. You can never have enough iron plates.
