for vanilla-recipe you need research. the vanilla-recipe gets not overwritten.

TMFW The temperature requirement is 500 degrees, and the power generation efficiency can be reached at full capacity. But the top temperature seems to be 485 degrees. Is there any way to reach 500 degrees? Or is it just a bug? i'am not sure if factorio restore at any time the old boiler behavior or...

you can use boilers in same way as vanilla, but the output-Steam-Temperature is raised. boilers/obninsk and turbine/mc-turbine/rensuir are fully vanilla steam compatible. you can mix 3M6/obninsk with vanilla-steam-turbines or steam-engines. All with "generators" in name only take MF. MF ne...

yes, it's the fluid-mechanics itself ... it takes too much water in a single time, so it can't heated enough, but with preheat or afterhear some °C it will work fine.
you can also use a little-boiler direct before the input of the overheater.

if it's heated you can still use it in the 5.6 MW generator.

The consumption depends on temperature this Turbine (165°C) expect. But you deliver 250°C or 270°C from Standard or MC-Boiler ... I don't know the new internal calculations but, vanilla boilers and steam-engines (165°) are matched and heat-exchangers and turbines (500°C). but i dislike these strict ...
