Re: PY POWER ANALISIS

Dividing max output of a turbine by the temp is close enough ... For a turbine mk01 and 600Β°C mixture, 24.8*0.6=14.88 MW With the correct method (according to crixomix and blokus), ((600-15)/985)*24.8=14.73 MW Immortal_sniper's calculator gives 14.742 MW Crixomix : combustion turbine mk01 / efficie...

Re: PY POWER ANALISIS

Ah I didn't see there was a web version, but I'm on my phone, would the web version work on a phone? Edit: so is the formula supposed to be (t-15)/985 or (t-15)/1000? Cause the calculator linked says 1000 but someone else said 985? Also, is the 42% efficiency the rounded number for turbine 1? Or is...

Re: PY POWER ANALISIS

Small question that you all may know, I can't download the thing now. Whats the formula for the megajoules of fuel value for combustion mixture at various temperatures? Like if I have 1 unit of 500c combustion, how many megajoules does that produce at 100% efficiency? Obviously tier 1 of turbines is...

Is there a way to void liquids?

Hello. I am still fairly new to pymods. Is there a way to void liquids? I know there's the gasvent but I can't seem to figure out how to get rid of unwanted liquids. Right now I'm just barreling them and putting them into active providers but I don't really want to fill up storage forever.

Re: This modpack is nuts. Any tips for mid-game?

Thanks for the tips. Seems like we're in a somewhat similar stage of the game. I'm looking forward towards getting turbines mk 2 because that will more than double my power production! HCL is rough. Mainly because of the saline water! That's an insane amount of stone and I'm going to need to start t...

This modpack is nuts. Any tips for mid-game?

Hello all. I have helmod, FNEI, LTN, and lots of other QOL mods so no need to suggest those :) I am currently in what I would consider the early-mid-game (Though I'm like 30+ hours in). I have logistics bots, and all of the red/green science completed. I am currently trying to wrap my mind around ho...

Re: Deadlocks Stacking for Pyanodons mods

@the ghost

I hope you guys can figure out how to make the new images as discussed to save fps. Because I hope to use stacking to great impact in my py late game.

Thank you again for all the work you do!

Re: PyMods, wood for red science??

Yeah. I recommend rushing coal processing 1 right after automation and logistics. The total wood you'll need to do all that is like, 500ish? Cause you need 10 wood for 3 packs. So 3.33 each. And I think you need 150ish packs to get there? So total amount of wood for early game, to craft all the circ...

Re: When to use Nobium pipes?

But do niobium pipes hold 400 or 100? A guy above said 400 and if that's true, then that would make long sections of undergrounds slower than iron because of the increased capacity per pipe, which, as discussed, slows flow.

Re: Question about fluid energy values.

So my question is about the turbines. Is the max power rounded? Or the efficiency percentage? Because if tier 1 is exactly 42%, then the max power is actually 985*60/s*1kj*.42 = 24822 kilo joules, not 24800. Or if it's exactly 24800kj, then the efficiency is actually 41.962775%. Obviously these numb...

Hello all.

I have recently unlocked tier 1 py logistic bots. Are they better or worse than vanilla logistic bots? It seems they have the same energy consumption, 3x the carrying capacity, but there's nothing showing how big the batteries are?

Re: pY Coal Processing - Discussion

Hello. I am wondering what the fuel value of combustion mix is? Does it work the same way as steam? Where it's linearly scaling up to its full value? Starting at 15 degrees celcius? If so, then I know how to get the fuel value. The big question is does it start at 15 degrees like steam does? So theo...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion

Not sure if I totally agree it's a PH issue. Even without the hot air recipe. I'm not sure if I would switch to grade 2 chain. Because it just takes so many buildings and so much power. Though the efficiency would be about 2x better than the basic foundry recipe. But I still don't think it's worth i...

Hello, I am here to ask a question regarding coppper processing 01 research. It seems to me that it is actually very bad? I might be missing something though and I am not here to be disrespectful, but may I share what I have discovered? I use the helmod mod to create production chains and easily see...

Re: [MOD 0.15] Orbital Ion Cannon 1.5.1

Infinite use ion cannon vs one time use nuke seems to imbalanced. 1) Nukes should be built in a smaller silo with cheaper rockets. They don't need to get into orbit after all. 2) Ion Cannons should be used up after 5 shots. Sending more rockets up than firing ion cannons shouldn't be an issue at th...

Re: [MOD 0.13] Progressive running

Could we please add a third option, as I think some others have suggested, to toggle FULL speed? Sometimes I want progressive, sometimes I may even want ALL slow. But MOST times I don't want any slowness at all, and want to run at 100% speed immediately. Your mod is awesome, but sometimes I'm torn a...

Re: Average Gameplay Session Length

I normally go for an hour or two if its a weeknight. Weekends can be longer. I just started a bobsangels playthrough and once in a while I realize the complexity of what I have to set up next and I just give up. I'm like "oh no it's time to set up oil, and I want to set up a huge, well organize...
