You could try removing the replay.dat from the save, that will at least lower the file size of the save.

If the output pipe isn't full, they will definitely need the save to get to the bottom of this.

If it works the same way as player health then you need to use fractions between 0 and 1. Anything above 1 is considered 1.
So for half the bar, you'll use 0.5

Protip: Never post your complete game directory. Not only does it allow people to download and access the game without buying it, but they can also use your player-data.json file to keep their pirated copy of the game up-to-date without buying it.
