Re: [0.8.8] Game crashes when firing rockets
In answer to your questions: Yes, it did freeze and then crash. My computed did a "hiccup" of hard disk activity (happens sometimes, so I'm used to it) and then the game crashed. Cannot say about memory, happened to fast to open any tool. Only rockets, normal ones. Only car (however, I nev...

[0.8.8] Game crashes when firing rockets
Happened twice already, so it must be something. When I am standing some distance away from a spawner and rapid-firing rockets from my car, the game freezes on rocket impact (I literally see the rocket on top of the spawner) and then the game crashes. It is unrecreatable (loading a recent auto-save ...

Bug or feature? (disappearing biters)
So, I blast a biter base to bits and then it happens - a dozen or so biters chasing after me simply disappear into thin air. However, I believe I might have inadvertedly switched on peaceful mode while creating the map. Is this regular behaviour, or should I go on composing a bug report?

[0.8.8] Inserter stuck while supplying

Re: Timings
The worst timings issue I have is with copper cabling in a level 2 assembler or better in an simple direct Cable-to-Circuit setup. There's always a processing delay because the inserters can't keep it stocked on copper before it's processed. 2.4 per second doesn't seem to keep up with a level 2 fac...

Timings
As the wiki is rather lacking of those and much of info is dispersed around multipaged threads, I think it would be better to gather them all in one spot. Electric mining drill mines 30 ore per minute (wiki) i.e. 0.5 ore/sec Electric furnace processes 36 ore/min <=> 0.6 ore/sec Unloading a chest on ...

Re: On the topic of subterranean ores and construction
Too many details, mostly unimportant, because the devs won't never implement it exactly like so. Tip: Try to formulate the essence of the idea, remove the details, which are logic or not necessarily exactly like that. Make more simple posts about exactly one theme and don't mix all into one big. Th...

On the topic of subterranean ores and construction
This was originally meant as a post in the "Hidden ores" topic in development proposals, but as I thought it over I decided that it became too wide for that particular theme. So instead I am posting it here. This post may for sure contain things suggested by others in the past, please, bea...
