Re: Easier Movement?

... :? So you could just leave places blank to walk around but when you need to get over tons of belts and don't want to walk around you could put a bridge over it. Ramps and walkway tiles is all you need and it can just connect in any direction. Just a quick mockup I did. The warning strips were ...

Re: My first factory

... I connect them to the grid with wire, They don't attach to poles automatically, because they use the poles wire reach not substation. For the bridges I used just poles and a handful of caps, build a row of poles spaced apart, put 2 poles directly on either side so they connect to center, remove ...

Re: My first factory

I have no idea.. A couple? Also the bridged capacitors don't seem to be used till the normal ones are out of power, really weird. Sometimes the capacitors aren't sparking but the backup system is still producing power, idk what's going on ...

Re: Crank Bridges

This would be a good idea if you could also create rivers. Create a giant moat, and when trains are going across, the crank bridge extends, the train runs over any aliens in the way, and retracts!

Stone Bridges/Filling In Lakes

I often want to build really large structures and end up running into bodies of water. It would be cool to be able to build a bridge or fill them in (perhaps a use for the horribly under-used stone). Perhaps a way to expand lakes and grow trees would be cool too.

Re: [Polls] The signals

... matches the style, while wireless would feel like cheating. Well.. , I wouldn't mind some big transceiver towers later in the tech tree that could bridge two distant networks. Their power consumption should be influenced by their power (=> range), though.

Crank Bridges

I don't like having to go around large bodies of water on my trains so it would be cool to add crank bridges. They'd be like draw bridges but could be activated by some sort of electric signal. They would have to have a limited range, so far I haven't seen any islands so ...

Re: A few suggestions

Replace 1 with bridge, made out of wood?

That way you can walk, place conveyor belts, wooden chests on it, but limited to items that seem 'light'

Iron bridges could hold everything else including railroad tracks.
