Well, mrvn, I think you cannot convince me, that there is a big need for placing wires over long distances, when there would be some “wireless wires” :) and free cables/wires as a tool. That’s another point for using a tool instead crafting stupid wires. Because it’s completely non-logical that wires just disappear into air.

This mod behaves exactly as I would like to have it:

You can choose the right wire-tool (red, green, copper) by key or shortcut. Not possible to make it simpler.
