There is a mod, that does exactly do that...
BTW: I use that a while now and I need to say: I use it less often than I thought. What many forget: Shift-R is two keypresses. Rotating counterclockwise is three. But on the same key.

yes, I searched for anti-clockwise and it returned no results. I then looked at one of my other games for the feature and it said "rotate counterclockwise", so I actually changed my post to read that.
