... like that in the past but we didn't come to any conclusions. In general, we don't want cluttered settings. A mute checkbox is just a shortcut to setting a volume to 0, I'm not convinced it's worth cluttering the GUI for that.

the quick and easy solution would be to simply upgrade quality only if the upgrade planner has quality filters set/relevant keyboard key pressed. Otherwise have it work as it does currently.
