I use the train panel often. It is very inconvenient to be unable to assign a keyboard shotcut to open the Trains panel/menu.
Does a mod exist to fix this issue? Will this be fixed in an update?

In general I like the idea of locked placement direction very much, but in some situations it would be nice to go back to the "old" free placement behavior without lock -> so a keyboard toggle would be very nice and helpful

Requesting special key combination instead of confirm button for map tag dialog
... and could be improved. Therefor my request. With average sized hands, the above suggested key combination is impossible to press on a normal PC keyboard. I think that would be a great addition.

... the intended use, it's not utterly wrong IMO, because the game allows up to 4 shortcut bars at the same time, which cannot all be linked to a keyboard shortcut. I'm glad that we'll get an option to use the previous behavior.

I very, very often use switching the train from auto to manual mode, so I would also use a hot key. I join the proposal.

... am personally using the BÉPO layout and doing CTRL+C/V with the left hand is difficult/not possible. I am thus using CTRL/SHIFT+insert/delete on a keyboard that has dedicated macros for that ( TypeMatrix or ErgoDox with a layout similar to the TypeMatrix). It does not work in Factorio textboxes ...
