Never mind about the texture streaming. I tried again and it continues to crash.

I think this is related to texture streaming, because deselecting the texture streaming option in the graphics settings allowed me to connect to the multiplayer server without crashing.

Factorio crashed two different times for me. First, on first opening the game, and then a separate time directly after connecting to a multiplayer server.
