OMG I found it, it was a really stupid mistake. Somehow the current stop was set to a train limit of 0, but I didn't see it because trains would still go there, they just wouldn't load... Thanks so much for the help!

I don't think so! This is the next station. When I set the "Enable train limit" thing to 20, still nothing happens. But even if the station was full, the train would still load at the current station, right? I just don't understand why the inserters are doing nothing :( Screen Shot 2020-12...

Train rail signals

My train thinks it has no path, but the rail chain signal is green, which means the path to its destination is completely free, right? I tried everything, and I'm sure my locomotives are facing the right way, the signal is facing the right way, the rail is uninterrupted, the stops are placed correct...
