Re: How do I use my own projectile?
You need one more set of curly brackets in your data.extend call. The function expects a table of prototypes. And there is no "medium-scorchmark" so it seems. You could extend your own perhaps :)? Example in ~\prototypes\entity\demo-remnants.lua This loads for me: projectile.lua data:exte...

[Resolved]How do I use my own projectile?
Hello there! This is my first go at modding, and I'm basically trying to make a better (if a little overpowered :P ) version of the basic grenade, called ' advanced grenade ' . Reason I'm trying to make it, is to easily clear trees :P I'm aware there is a Thermite mod for that (or ofcourse the vanil...

Re: How much data does the game take?
save files can get rather large if you play a heavily modded version on MP which needs to be shared every time between playersHexicube wrote:To add to this, my saves are all in the 3-6MB range. Chances are you won't go past 10MB unless exploring like mad. I'd say it should safely fit in 0.5GB.

Re: SILVER????
Like other people mentioned, Bobs Ores , like the name suggests, adds a bunch of new ores.
Tbh I find the game awkwardly empty without it lol, I feel it adds more to the game.

Re: [MOD 0.12.22+] Vanilla Plus (1.0.4 new stuff!)
I feel like this mod is getting way too little attention.
Admittedly I have not tried it myself, but I will do so soon.
Anyone want to share their experiences with this?

Re: [0.12.24] Really slow map upload
For me and my friend it's the other way around.
Start at 300kbps-ish and slows down gradually, meaning that on a larger map it can slow down to 30kbps-ish

[0.12.5] multiplayer auto-saving
Ever since I updated to 0.12.5 experimental the game will not auto-save when playing it on Multiplayer. Am I alone in this? and... should I be posting this in Bug Reports or at Technical Help? I use the following mods: RoboCharge 0.0.4, Side-Inserters 1.1.0 Fluid Void 1.0.1 Larger Inventory 1.0.0 Up...

Re: [Unsolved] Couldn't establish network communication.
Funnily enough I too am from the Netherlands and had this exact problem when trying to connect to my friend who lives in Denmark =P It was fixed by simple portforwarding, though. Reading through the posts in this thread you forwarded the ports to 192.168.1.52. If by now you still can't play with you...
