Hm. In my opinion nearly any map is playable even under crazy conditions. nobody said it is easy. :) But that should be the reason to play “hard”. 8-) And so doesn’t need so much tweaking. I would agree with that if that was a big problem to implement, but the changes needed to make the difficulty ...

Have there been changes between 0.17.69 and current experimental (0.18.15)? It seems to me it is harsher but perhaps it's the map? Biters stopped colliding with each other in 0.17.70. This results in more "swarming" in many cases, so more of them arrive at your defences at once instead of...

Starting mechanics should be improved. Currently it is hard to find a reasonable start map on Death World setting because there are often nests close to initial resources. This should be prevented. Also, patches bordering one with another or on the other hand too far from each other are annoying.

I think nests might evolve to be more durable during the game. With defender capsules / personal laser turret I can destroy nests very rapidly just by running around them. One have to avoid getting into acid but with exoskeleton it is much easier.

It would make sense for better ammo to have longer range as this is the case in real world as well. However, the range change should be minor unless it come with other balancing. Even +1 for each ammo upgrade would be a significant improvement. It would definitely help with protecting corners which ...

I think uranium richness should be decreased so one can get out of uranium in other case than marathon, just building up for long hours or finding some unusually small patch. It would also encourage players to research Kovarex process. Furthermore, I think uranium ammo should not depend on researchi...
