I have only one question; where do I send my money? I can't wait. The modding community in Factorio is one of the best around, so not like we don't have enough content to last until the release. Pyanodon's will probably take me until at least the expansion arrives anyway! Excellent news indeed.

Nexelit should be unlocked at red science. I've just done so myself and I haven't yet made a start on green science as I'm starting on some basic plants/animals initially: https://imgur.com/a/FYyC6Km.

Nice; that looks like the new version has sorted the new mod pack/shortcut (minor) issues. Only gave it a quick test, but seems OK. I'll try and set up all my modpacks as I had in MMF at the weekend. I'll do a clean setup and download the mods from the portal and try some updates etc..

Excellent. I will try this tonight with my current B&A mods and report back.
EDIT: Couple of observations:
- Clicking New Modpack doesn't appear to do anything, but exiting MMf2 and re-opening and the new mod pack is there as "New Modpack"
- Deleting a modpack sometimes crashes the app

I'd not thought about that; they open with 7zip, so assumed they were OK. The downloaded zips won't add, however if I unzip and rezip them they add fine, so you're 100% correct about there being something odd with these 2. No worries and thanks again.

If you click the Factorio button on the right you'll see the screen to create a shortcut. Click the shortcut arrow next to the Factorio version you want to use and then pick the modpack to start with and it should launch just those mods if you use the resulting shortcut to start the game. The program crashes when I add 7 mods in a modpack. I tried different mods and 6 mods always work but 7 mods gives me a program freeze

Will do. I did try just now to add a modpack and some mods from my MMF1 mod zip files and had a few issues.
(Note: If I get issues I have deleted the ModMyFactoryGUI folder in %APPDATA% to start clean each time)

That's more or less how it works. You don't have to redownload all your mods tho, you can just import them from your harddrive.

I have some existing saves with different mod folders that I copy to %appdata%\Roaming\Factorio\mods before loading the save. Mod folders like D:\FactorioStuff\mods\Krastorio, D:\FactorioStuff\mods\Bobs&Angels, D:\FactorioStuff\mods\Megabase1, etc. What's the best way to incorporate all this into ...

Here you go. This was just selecting version 1.0/0.18 in the version dropdown and searching for Krastorio 2. It seems to start populating the mod info on the right, but the versions were missing, but it crashed too quickly for me to get much detail. If you do the same for Helmod (and others like ...

Hi. New version doesn't crash at startup for me, but I still can't enter credentials; same "server-side error has occurred". If I ignore that and click Download Mods and browse to a mod it sometimes crashes. Eg Helmod works...Krastorio 2 doesn't. I can't actually download a mod because of the ...

The Factorio API has been throwing Internal Server Errors since the 1.0 release. I'm not quite sure why but my guess is overload due to the steep increase in active players. There is nothing I can do about this, we just have to wait until either things settle down or the Factorio devs address the ...
