Re: Enter should always "OK"
That I ask me, if this is really a useful suggestion, if the rest of UI isn’t able to be completely keyboard driven. The better suggestion is IMHO https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=80&t=4832 Mouse / Touchscreen / Keyboard only interface Adding support to use the same key for all green...

Sometimes the big sandy rocks(the ones that yield coal) will leave some coal on the ground.

Re: Better Compression (Stacking/Boxing/Pallets) Support
edit by ssilk: I’m really sorry, but I obviously hit “edit” instead of “quote”. Never happened before. And removed AmericanPatriots post nearly completely. This is, what remained: Compression is already there and weather you love it or hate it is not a valid concern but an opinion. So...

Re: Better Compression (Stacking/Boxing/Pallets) Support
yes, i understand what you were going for, but you're ignoring all of the subtle aspects in which this is indeed, a change in throughput. it's a change in bandwidth. it doesn't matter what it is, really, because it changes downstream distribution, hence, it will be a bad idea, and annoying. See, no...

Re: blueprinting and deconstruction order of operations and options
Wrong. The deconstructing bots picks up the wood, like any other regular entity deconstruction. Except the one bot send to the tree can't carry all that wood. Ah, you are talking about unupgraded bots that can't carry all of it. Oki. Fully upgraded bots can carry 4 wood. Maybe dropped items should ...

If you are in logistics range, bots will take items from trash slots and deposit them in the inventory if there is a request.

Re: Automatically landfill when placing blueprints/ghosts
What should happen, when you have no landfill (researched, asssembled) yet? What happens when you have a blueprint of something you haven't researched yet ? No, I mean should it try to place the bp (with landfill) anyway? Should it do nothing? (What it will do now) Should it place the ghost-entitie...

Re: Better Compression (Stacking/Boxing/Pallets) Support
It will not change throughput at all.[...] it just means you get a compressed item less often. wut? that's ... a.. change in throughput... along with all of the distribution changes that come from having a split-off bus now moving more dense packages along. upstream will get more dense shipments, d...

Re: Deleted Tab in the BPL
TL;DR next to game and player blueprints is the deleted blueprints tab, which contains any blueprint that was deleted from anywhere in that game session What ? when you delete a blueprint from anywhere, inventory or BPL, it goes into the deleted tab (kinda like the deleted emails tab) where deleted...

Re: Blueprint Library Feedback
My shamelessly self-advertised quote here would be consistant with what you say. It should definitely get copied. Personally, I hate copies of blueprints except for very specific use cases that are currently handled just fine with the copy button. Having copies of blueprints makes it difficult to a...

Re: New Blueprints - Better Symmetry Point
even though i don't rotate things, it's not perfect. i don't wanna threadjack, but we can't even zoom in to place the boundaries properly in a super large blueprint. the boundary doesn't even show up in certain positions  Just copy it and make the global grid 1x1 wherever you want the bluepri...

Re: Blueprint Library Feedback
In that case, what about simply removing the ability to hotlink from hotbar directly to the blueprint library? If you want to use a blueprint from the hotbar, it must be moved or copied into inventory first. Thoughts? Noooo. One of the reasons for the linking is to stop cluttering up your inventory...

Re: Better Compression (Stacking/Boxing/Pallets) Support
The actual ingame time breakdown shows the trains at consistently < 1 ms. In the context of the 6+ ms chewed by entities and belts each, the advantages of switching stackers from diagonal -- which are inherently short, compared to the mainline train distances -- is not worth pursuing. That diagonal...
