What if someone places a wall right in front of where he can see you walk
will it look like you run through the wall to the other person
or will you be teleported back to where the wall should have stopped you ?

I placed a setup that throws iron plates from one furnace directly into another one to burn steel, I did that before I researched steel processing. now that its researched the inserters don't automatically start putting the plates into the furnaces, they just idle until I refresh them by rotating or...

I also wonder why the flamethrower does not Ignite plants and cause wild fires.

Hello there

So I like to use the gates as a garage door for my Cars but the problem is that the gates react too late if the car isn't driving at around walking speed.
So I usually end up ramming the just opened gates.

Game hangs and slows down if the Internet connection is suffering (which I prefer over teleporting players like in other multiplayer games)

No such problems here, though it crashed once with message "car ended up in unreasonable position" after I rammed a gate while the car was on a red conveyor

Hello there.
In multiplayer only the host of a new world receives starter equipment (the furnace, burner drill and some iron).
So joining players don't have iron for a pickaxe which slows them down quite a bit.

but seriously, If I would be a tank Engineer in Factorio I would make it agile, put spikes on it and give it a rapid fire 20mm gun with A flamethrower as a secondary weapon

Its says

"Package lock (read) is active on [savefile location]"

every time I load a 0.10.1 replay
not just the one save file but every save file I try gives this error so far
