On a slight tangent, I'm guessing that /c game.forces['enemy'].kill_all_units() kills all the biters and spitters but leaves the spawners intact?

Okay case solved, I didn't realize the map and save folders were shortcuts to a hidden appdata folder (mostly because my French isn't really good enough to know some of the random technical computer terms - my own fault for having a foreign laptop I suppose).
