[1.1.53] Lazy bastard achievement tracking is inconsistent
In almost all achievements in the achievement tracking menu progress bar fills up with green, as player is closer to getting an achievement. In achievements with limited time, like "there is no spoon", "getting on track like a pro" progress bar starts fully green and then goes ba...

Re: My compact monster
This is my compact-ish solution for green circuits. Its seem not to be as compact as yours, but its same order of magnitude of production density. https://i.imgur.com/k3lcsav.png Each module is 87x17 tiles and can produce red belt of circuits, which means 49.3tiles/production unit. Your current setu...

Re: My compact monster
I recreated and throughput tested your design. With blue inserters its throughput was only 55 circuts/s. Main bottleneck was copper wires. https://i.imgur.com/SImz9KD.png After replacing all the inserters with green ones, the througput increased to 88 circuts/s. In this case main bottleneck seems to...

Re: My compact monster
I do like beacons but they take up a lot of space in order to have an effective setup. And this is meant to be compact. The current version is around 1/4th of the previous one. Adding beacons will either increase the space needed, or skew the ratios. Setups with beacons can be compact as well. http...

Re: 2x2 Nuclear 480W Compact 46x48 Tiles Belt Fed Reactors. And it is cheap!
Some time ago I designed this compac reactor. While its uses a lot more heatpipes and can handle only 477.24MW, but bit more compact. Its only 36 x 58/60, which is 228/221kW/tile compared to 217kW/tile of your design. It's also buildable from outside with included roboport and can be tiled. https://...

I tried to improve on the design and I managet to do it 1 block thiner (6 blocks instead of 7) https://i.imgur.com/f7PIT5g.png Blueprint of single tileable module 0eNqtmNuOmzAURf/Fz3gEvoDhV6qocoiTWDUGgakaRfn3GiKFzgQwh+lbCLDOhb2xD3d0NL1qWm0dKu5Il7XtUPHjjjp9sdIM/7lbo1CBtFMVipCV1XAku05VR6PtBVeyvGqrMEGP...

Smart Artillery Outpost
https://i.imgur.com/CsvSun7.png Its smart artillery outpost with circuit network controlled train stations and backup power. There is one dumb station for steam, its always open with train limit set to 0 and two smart requester stations for artillery shell (middle one) and general supplies (bottom ...

Grid blueprints for solar and rails
In recent factorio experimental version there was added blueprint grid, so I decided to create my own grid blueprint for rails and power production. https://i.imgur.com/KhTav0B.png In single cell there is some excess of accumulators, but accumulators on the edges are shared between cells. If this bl...

Re: Kovarex - autostart, any modules, 40pcs cycle, 12beacons per machine, all the bells and whistles (update for 18.x)
After seeing this post I decided to try to design smart covarex system on my own. https://i.imgur.com/s8e1hwh.png 0eNrlWm1yozgQvYv+rpmyBBI4tXuSrRSFjZKoxgZKiNRkUz7AHGQvtifZFvYYxxHQzdTs1Gb+xOHrNXp6/SX0yrb7TjfWVI7dvTKzq6uW3f35ylrzWBV7f869NJrdMeP0ga1YVRz80U5XzpqH7lGz44qZqtRf2B0/rmYf7GxRme4QiVhePSmO9ysGk...

Re: 6:1 and 1:6 blue belt balancers for train stations
Those are my most compact designs for: -unloader which works only for fully consumed belt -unloader which works even with unevenly consumed belt -loader which works only for compressed belt -loader which works even with uncompressed belt but they are all so simple, I'm probably not the first one to ...
