Modular armor expansion
I am going to get right to the idea here: more modular armor suits that have more slots, but the slots are contained in various boxes. For example, there might be one that has a 2x3 AND a 4x4 area. If your internet cuts the download halfway, I would recommend either A. Going someplace with a faster internet speed(friends house or even a library) or B. Trying the download very late at night when it is likly less people are trying to download the game and less people are on your LAN/WAN

I agree with (most) everyone here that this should not be added to the "stock" game, but rather added by a mod. I personally would love to have to add "belt un-jamming" stations everywhere.

Rivers would just be really annoying in the early game, but continents and large shipyard systems sound awesome

I would love a part like this- I don't craft low-teir items anymore in the beginning of the game just because of the hassle it would create. (Burner drills and inserters, the wooden power poles, etc.)

I realy like the solar and spy ideas.
Also, next time that you suggest an idea, I would recommend being more ambiguous, as anyone that implements it is not going to be using any recipes suggested by a fan, but rather a recipe that they think is balanced.

I see your point (and I kinda agree with it, but it would be a neat alternative to electricity. In terms of gameplay, it could allow for things to be done more efficiently (in return for the space taken up by pipes)

This is a simple idea explained fully by the title: have "steampunk" buildings such as inserters, assemblers, etc. powered by steam made in the existing boilers.
