Re: [2.24] Headless server catastrophic save corruption causes a crash.
That sounds like your router or firewall is blocking traffic to/from the server - possibly because of the amount of UDP packets it gets to download the map. In any case, there is nothing in the log for me to work with. That save file specifically causes the issue. My friends couldn't connect to the...

Re: [2.24] Headless server catastrophic save corruption causes a crash.
When you say "stops responding" what exactly is happening? The log shows that a player connected, started downloading the map, then disconnected, then 20 seconds later someone sent a sig-term to the process, it saved gracefully, and exited without issue. When I'm trying to join the game i...

Re: [2.24] Headless server catastrophic save corruption causes a crash.
If you look into the .log file it says updateTick(18446744073709551615) that's the 64bit integer max value. I have a headless server running on a VPS, the crash occurs when a player is trying to join the headless server, as soon as a player starts downloading the map the entire VPS crashes. On my ma...

[2.24] Headless server catastrophic save corruption causes a crash.
I encountered a bug where the tick counter somehow overflows the 64bit integer and causes the server to crash.
The .log file and the corrupted save are in the attachments.

How to diagnose the cause of the server lag?
I'm currently running a pretty big server with 4 of my friends and we are starting to get a lot of lag, sometimes the latency seem to spike, sometimes it drops the users from the game, how can I identify whether it's the problem with hardware performance or networking? We have a logistical bot abomi...

Re: [Solved] How to update the headless server?
That's simple enough. I have no idea how it didn't work for me the first time around, I tried it again and it was fine.
I think I can set up a small bash script to do it with one command

[Solved] How to update the headless server?
I just finished setting up a headless factorio server, and the game updated to 2.0.8 while the server is still 2.0.7.
How do i update it? I tried launching it with --apply-update and --start-server --apply-update settings but that didn't help.

Re: Power vehicles from an equipment grid
Wold make sense the other way around if you could charge your modular armor from the car generator and maybe could charge from the power grid.
