I don't really see it that way if it was all animation time then the shooting speed wouldn't increase at all with higher researches. If it's deemed a duplicate so be it, but wanted to point out that the tooltip is misleading on the speed you can expect

yes saw that one but didn't really think that was the same thing. That was related to research and shooting speed, this is about the tooltip itself being incorrect at level 1 and then showing level 24 speed at level 4 on the tooltip

Railgun shooting speed is not accurately reflected in the tooltip.

What did you do?
Placed railgun down on a lab surface and attached a decider combinator and made it count ticks between shots while making a worm invulnerable in front of it

So just as a follow up question why is their a difference of if the player is in the spidertron vs if they are out of the spidertron?

When I'm in the spidertron the bots build pretty much instantly when I'm not they pause for quite awhile before completing the build. I'm assuming something to do ...

I agree, but when i deleted that save the error doesn't occur anymore

Seems it was a corrupted campaign save that was causing the issue

I just deleted the campaign folder and verified files, the campaign folder did not reappear or download, and still have same error

When opening the Menu to manually save the game this error occurs and Factorio freezes, autosave does not have this issue. This happens when I'm on a completely new vanilla map as well.

I've also asked and no one seems to have the json that the error is referring to or even a beta folder in ...
