More often than not when a suggestion is made, someone will link a mod that does the thing suggested, or atleast something similar. This has been counted as a good thing.

Though if a mod already does the thing you're suggesting, would it be better to not have it suggested it in the first place?

I don't use any air water mods. But i think i would like to try. Using maps like these! Having sea play a bigger part, and transporting goods through either boats, or by constructing long bridges sounds like a fun concept. I might make a seperate post detailing this

TL;DR
Abilities to use biters to gain resources, like electricity, or meat. and have an incentive to not murder every base on sight. Which in turn also means a need to constantly maintain defenses
