I did some experiments with the forumla to find out what units are used.
I used the editor and some lua commads to read the speed and weigt values used by the game.

speed is in km/tick (=km/sec/60)
weight is in kg (=1000*ton)
When I assume that thrust is in KN (=1000*MN), the space_platform ...

TL;DR: I would like to read or calculate the travelled distance of my space plattform.

My motivation:
Different areas in space have different densities of asteroids and asteroid chunks.
I would like to automatically adjust the thrust of my space platform, depending on the area of space it is ...

But that shot with the Christmas tree makes me want to request something else: holiday themed sprites. Either as separate mods, or as things built into the game that automatically enable on and for the duration of the holiday, then turn back off after. And some random joke stuff on April 1st ...

When I download the game as zip file for windows from the Download page, unzipping results in the following error:

Error 0x80004005: unknown Error
NotoSansCJKtc-Bold.tff

I would expect that the file would unzip correctly.
I could reproduce it alwas, even after downloading the zip-file again ...
