After some testing, It appears that a single pool can stack up to 3x or 3x the DPS. This however is not always the case the acid can hit a slightly different position causing a second third or more pool to materialize beside the first. i wonder how many different pools, all at a max of x3 could hit ...

You can easily get bases with 100 or more worms in vanilla. Right, but where I'm having trouble is the part where the acid kills you that quickly. Do you run in with no armor? No shields? Yes. I do not play base game mode though. If base game actually was a challenge with spitters and wurms then youd feel the burn too.

You havent realised engineer is OP? When the engineer uses all his tools, there is no chance for the biters. Even max deathworld settings are EZ once you got some tech. In Mountain Fortess public server we run batteries and charge off accumulators. This isnt a mod its a scenario.

Acid pool stacking makes no sense. Obviously you can "just dodge" but god damn does it even suck to stand on 10x pool of acid in a single tile. Obviously base setting you wont have to deal with this, but alot of worms and spitters can fit on the screen and shoot at once. The initial damage...

Stone Bricks = Stone Walls
Concrete = Concrete Walls
Reinforced Concrete = Reinforced Concrete Walls

Stone walls are designed for small - Medium enemies. Concrete for Medium-Large. And reinforced for Large-Behemoths.

There really needs to some better late defensive walls in base game Factorio

What about furnace speed rather than productivity?
Also, machine crafting speed?

Having multipliers for this would be godly.

I mean I guess technically I could just setup the scenario and the map, place initial miners and smelter for both teams and throw up some productivity beacons?

not even sure what that would equal out to but might be the easiest way of keep this vanilla.

Thanks Klonan I think useful PvP settings would include: Miner Mining speed percentage, oil extraction speed percentage, water pump speed percentage, smelter speed percentage, machine crafting speed percentage, oil refining percentage Basically any resource gathering or making. I imagine a AoE style...

1. How would I go about map editing for PvP scenario. I would like to setup to teams with specific resource drops

2. The popup menu where many things can be changed is great. Is it possible to add more options? Specifically entity mining speeds?
