Hi, thanks for the report. It is an error I made with a fix in the last version. I think that all the issues were from that and are now fixed. I have also split the alerts for the ghost reviving.

Pikachu, what is it that you are suspecting exactly, what could the chunk split cause in your opinion? In the desync I see a lot of differences related to power but that is usually only an effect of something else - basically anything changes, it changes the power draw and that propagates into the w...

The structure I had in mind is on the screenshot here "viewtopic.php?f=182&t=66564". But I don't think that is an issue. That would either work or not.

No worries, I already got it. BTW the issue was unrelated to the original one. Should be in the next release.

I am trying to replicate the same thing in the base game. Are you able to do that with anything? The original issue was in vanilla.
If you lay it down in the correct direction, it should now either not build or reset the recipe (instead of crashing previously), right?

About the science, that is an unrelated issue and not my area. If you want that to be looked at, please, make a separate report for it. I suspect though that it would already exist somewhere.

Yes, this is intentional. A ghost is usually the intended connection so it does not allow connections over it.

I believe then that I have fixed it by preventing that kind of fast-replace. Let me know if it is ok with your modded thing too (in 17.14.)

I have found some possible issues related to fluid burner mining drills. It might have been the reason behind your crash, but I don't know. So please, try it in the next version (0.17.14) and let me know.

By the way this crash you are getting means it gets into an infinite loop.

leadraven, if you know how to create a pipe locked to a fluid that has no reason for it anymore, please, let me know how. It would be quite serious as that would cause a desync in MP.

Normal connections having any influence seems strange.
This is like a puzzle game on it's own.
@Staplergun - what exactly is behind that ctrl-r rotation? It seems like it is changing the prototype on the run. That sounds dangerous.

Ah yeah, I see what you mean, in the picture. But when I load it, in the same game version, I have that clear. I am not quite sure what happened there. It looks like there could be a bug but I can't identify it from here
