Re: Rubber-banding camera

@Tertius
Thanks, didn't think about the far reach mod, it sure is easier than running around. I may give it a go.

@ptx0
Thanks for the tip, that definitely solves the issue, but takes out a big chunk of early gameplay progression. I will think about it though.

Re: Rubber-banding camera

@Qon Good idea! It may solve my issue, although, I can see another problem arising such as accidental right clicks which will pick up buildings instantly, in the best case, you would hear the sound and stop to search for what did you mess up. It wouldn't be my first time accidentally right clicking ...

Re: Rubber-banding camera

@Tertius Thanks for the reply, I agree with you, I'm not 100% sure, had some mild motion sickness in some games. Usually (as you pointed out) it's the head bobbing, field of view, lag & screen tearing what causes it. However, I think, the hard stop in Factorio when you pick up something fits thi...

Rubber-banding camera

Hi! I would love to see a mod that lags the camera a little behind the player movement, sometimes I get a headache/migraine (I think) from the constant stopping of camera when you pick up some belts or walls in a straight line or cutting trees without moving the mouse. The character, and so the came...

Re: Friday Facts #339 - Beacon HR + Redesign process

The design is awesome, but please make it a weapon instead. Like many others said, it's not part of the factory with that shape and look. The variation should be dropped also, many of us like symmetric designs over random. Don't scrap the design, please consider making it a weapon (maybe in a future...

Re: Version 0.17.60

As many has stated, this is a rushed change. I don't even try to explain what is wrong, all my fellow players in dozens of posts did it. I'm just one of those who feel we are left without any choice. Now maybe Factorio will not get any major backlash from this change, but Wube will. The feeling of n...

Re: Friday Facts #305 - The Oil Changes

Hello devs. I'm a bit concerned about the oil changes, I agree about the learning curve and understand your point behind this changes. I was having trouble setting my oil processing up right. But a i managed it and it was a great sense of accomplishment! So, with the new changes what you can't do an...
