That the game forces users to have knowledge of this procedure 2 a-d (which they do not) is really user unfriendly. Really something they should fix. I'm having the same problem. Was playing 1.1.45 and reverted to 1.1.42. Steam cloud sync is off. Copied blueprint-storage-backup.dat to blueprint-storage.dat. Yes the blueprints for 1.1.42 was lost!! I cannot run the game with my BPs on 1.1.42 any longer. Do we players really need to go into the filesystem before doing an upgrade and manually backup the blueprint file so we can return to the original version and play with blueprints again? After running to latest experimental of the base game, I tried to back the base game to 1.1.42 where my single player game is, but then dispite this I lost all my blueprints when opening the blueprints after downgrade (1.1.45 -> 1.1.42). But the "Continue" button does not pop up that warning screen. I think that it should.

I think that all game loads/starts should pop up that mod-sync-warning message before continuing when there is a mismatch in the mod list. I think this would be a great feature for the 1.1 release.

Yes great idea. Now I tested the "Sync mods with save" button. It shows me both what is missing and what is added! Great result! This is what I was looking for. :D

I think that "Drop item" in the Factorio control settings either should change name to "Drop/insert item" and/or get a little help bubble explaining its dual use. (Not intuitive really)
