Re: Friday Facts #422 - Tesla Turret
I think it looks fine, however, it could use a proper "charge-up" animation before it releases the energy, to give it more punch.

Re: Friday Facts #394 - Assembler flipping and circuit control
Not a huge fan of the flipping implementation. I understand why it's done, but at this point, you could have gone all the way and just make the inputs and outputs dynamic and let the user assign which input and output uses what resource.
Now with the flipped inputs/outputs but unflipped building ...

Re: Friday Facts #247 - Pricing and its exploits
Good, mature response regarding Satisfactory, that's just how it should be. I think both games will follow different approaches. While Factorio will definitely be better regarding the building of huge bases and automation, Satisfactory can use the 3D graphics to make more interesting levels through ...

You know that the combat sucks when you have to write something like this. No offense.First, to not bring the hopes of everyone up too much, this did not mean a combat overhaul.

If you want to use the loader with assemblers, why not make an extra tier of assemblers, which are fast and can use the loader, but are only able to produce low-tier items like gears?

Don't forget to change the graphics for the cables/wires before you release the trailer. Imho you should make them more stand out.

Wow it looks so much better, even though I'm not quite sure if the perspective is right.

Thank you
Hope this factory is an inspiration for other people to build even bigger and better ones! It just shows what is possible with this game.

If you researched steel processing, you should be able to melt iron plates in furnaces to make steel bars.

Multi-Belt-Inserter
You know what would be awesome? A huge number of belts in sequence, all full of items. Problem: There is no way to get them down from the conveyor belts, because all you got is a long handed inserter, which has a maximum range of two belts. What if you have three belts or more?
If this is the case ...

Re: Mega Factory
Thank you very much :) this game just makes so much fun. And the game never crashed once. It just shows how good you are in programming, even the bugs are most of the time just minor. And absolutely no stuttering, I can't even imagine how you did this with all the thousand objects on the conveyor ...

Re: Mega Factory
1) Well, I just wanted to make a factory which produces science pack 3s. Didn't think it was going to be so big. :D
2) Yes, they help a lot. When you have many assembling machines, drills or ovens in a sequence, they may have to wait to put the finished product on the belt because it is overcrowded ...

Mega Factory
Well, probably not the biggest factory, but still quite large.
So, here's the overview:

As you can see, I have huge fields of resources so my factory won't run out of them so soon.

Re: Gears (and maybe other items) falling off the transport
While I see your point MatlaPatate, I still want the game to be predictable. Things randomly falling of the belts make the game unpredictable. There are better ways to make the game harder
