Re: Friday Facts #345 - Unit group collision mask & Artillery shell particle

Hmm sorry but the pathfinding works incorrect in my eyes. Why not let the water biters take the shortcut over water in the mixed group? If all bitters attack at the same time then the damage dealt is bigger, so it's better for them to join and attack together instead of attacking one by one. Moreov...

Re: Friday Facts #334 - New poison cloud animation, flying robot dying effect

Animation of dying robot is cool, but I wish there was a smoke that comes form robot after it's destroyed. It would be cool if destroyed car or tank would spawn some dark smoke as well.

Hi, I'm running LInux Mint 19.3 Linux Mint 19.3 Cinnamon My CPU: Intel© Core™ i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz × 4 When I open Mods -> Install page one core (thread) of my CPU gets 100% usage. Re: Simple Questions and Short Answers

The Linux version of Factorio can fork the game save process and do it in the background whilst you play on. Does this also happen with Linux headless? I assume it would, but wanted to check. Yes, it can, but you have to enable it in server-settings.json file. It's called "non_blocking_saving" and ...

[0.17,74] It's is possible to detect enemy bases by looking at the pollution map

Enemy bases absorbs a lot of pollution, by doing that they make pollution map cleaner and therefore there are clean chunks on the map that can be used to spot a new enemy base that haven't been discovered by a player nor radar. https://upload.jakubwe.ga/files/27kF/view The save I'm playing on: Downl...

Re: Friday Facts #319 - New T-shirts & Lua event filtering

Hi, will there be a t-shirt with printed factorio base?
I remember some time ago you had this big banner https://cdn.factorio.com/assets/img/blo ... 9-img3.jpg
It would be great to have a t-shirt with this huge base printed on it.

(Sorry for my english)

Re: Friday Facts #312 - Fluid mixing saga & Landfill terrain

How about making grass spread to dirt after some random time? Like in Minecraft, every tick there is a small chance that one tile of grass would make a neighbor tile of dirt full of grass.

Re: Friday Facts #309 - Controversial opinions

Why don't you create a survey and allow people to vote for each idea. Answers should be (Yes, I want it | I don't mind | No, don't do that). This would be great thing I think 😀

Re: [0.17.36][Linux] Unable to create world (Operation not permitted)

OK Fixed id by transforming the exFAT partition into fat32 one and chaning /etc/fstab line into: /dev/disk/by-uuid/D227-4F25 /mnt/SSSD auto rw,nosuid,nodev,nofail,x-gvfs-show,uid=1000,gid=1000,umask=022 0 0 Not only Factorio had this problem, Android Studio complained too. But now it's ok, so I thin...

[0.17.36][Linux] Unable to create world (Operation not permitted)

Hello I have Windows 10 and Linux Mint 17.1 on my laptop. They have their own, separated partitions (Windows - NTFS, Linux - EXT4). I have also one shared partition formated as FUSE file system. Formatted by mkfs.exfat command (The file system doesn't support ownerships and permissions). It's mounte...
