The Linux version of Factorio can fork the game save process and do it in the background whilst you play on. Does this also happen with Linux headless? I assume it would, but wanted to check. Yes, it can, but you have to enable it in server-settings.json file. It's called "non_blocking_saving" and ...

[0.17,74] It's is possible to detect enemy bases by looking at the pollution map

Enemy bases absorbs a lot of pollution, by doing that they make pollution map cleaner and therefore there are clean chunks on the map that can be used to spot a new enemy base that haven't been discovered by a player nor radar. https://upload.jakubwe.ga/files/27kF/view The save I'm playing on: Downl...

Re: Friday Facts #319 - New T-shirts & Lua event filtering

Hi, will there be a t-shirt with printed factorio base?
I remember some time ago you had this big banner https://cdn.factorio.com/assets/img/blo ... 9-img3.jpg
It would be great to have a t-shirt with this huge base printed on it.

(Sorry for my english)

Re: Friday Facts #309 - Controversial opinions

Why don't you create a survey and allow people to vote for each idea. Answers should be (Yes, I want it | I don't mind | No, don't do that). This would be great thing I think 😀

But now it's ok, so I thin...

[0.17.36][Linux] Unable to create world (Operation not permitted)

Hello I have Windows 10 and Linux Mint 17.1 on my laptop. They have their own, separated partitions (Windows - NTFS, Linux - EXT4). I have also one shared partition formated as FUSE file system. Formatted by mkfs.exfat command (The file system doesn't support ownerships and permissions). It's mounte...
