I suggest that the rail system should be reverted to it's state from any of the 2016 releases .... not criticising the old system, but people would really appreciate the current system when it is turned back on!

Update - Replaced Requestor chests supplying turrets with buffer chests The buffer chests at the turrets are set to request 200 red ammo and 200 green ammo. I had the same problem, I wanted an inserter connected to a circuit network and the logistic network. solved it by connecting it to a robotport and reading the logistics network from that - circuit network only.

There is no such rule. The wires use absolute distance and the electric coverage is a square for game-play convenience and simplicity. There is little reason for the 2 to be correlated.
