I'm also getting a pop-up that says 'Error: Invalid value "false" of TextureCompression' when I open the game.
I run Factorio on my laptop, and follow the latest experimental beta branch on Steam. I get the error both when I'm running my usual mods, and when I delete the contents of my mod folder ...
