You can probably ctrl-f for tank. Also, putting a pin on it helps too =)

Ammo > 500 looks true, but isnt. They really need to change it to yellow and only turn green when it's fulfilled.

Re: Gleba has killed the game for me.
Hm, i liked Gleba. Spoilage is fine if you accept that you cant buffer things, but the constant flow remains. My space train brings a constant flow of bioflux and science back to nauvis. If i dont need it, it spoils and gets trashed. Same with biter eggs. They got brought home and trashed (either ...

Re: Space Age.. feels a little flat
How did you enable evolution in "vanila"?, or you are using mods and not caring about steam achievements?
Using a mod which shows some info in top right, if you meant that. No i dont care about achievements =)
If you do, then buffer the plates/ice/carbon. I made the mistake once to buffer ...

Re: Space Age.. feels a little flat
What is the problem there? That they have a % chance to return a chunk again? xD
I solved that by using 2 filtered inserters for output.
One filtered inserter takes the iron ore/carbon/ice out of the rock crusher and puts it on a belt to the follow up machinery.
The other filtered inserter ...

Re: How to have trains skip stops now?
I would enable/disable receiver train stops per circuit (enable trainstation if connected coal buffer is below threshold). Then have a trainschedule of B->C->D->E and an interrupt for go get coal if you coal is empty.
Edit: oh just read the rest, disabling train stations works different now. Hmm ...

Re: Early Game on Rails
having to mine oil, before I can build the refineries are annoying as hell. Since setting up the oil outpost is the last step in getting oil up and running, not the first
Same with uranium. Now i have to build up my rail system/clear the area to start mining it. Then i have to wait for the ...

Re: Space Age general Questions
Will I be able to buy it directly from factorio.com and get a Steam key? I think I could do this with Factorio 1, but nothing on the website suggests this is possible with F2.
Yes you can, a mod or dev said it somewhere. I'm just too lazy (i.e. saving my power for the release) to search it for ...

Mods implementing DLC content
Hi fellow Engineers,
I wondered if there's been a discussion or official response on mods implementing dlc(-like) content? For example a Power Armor mk3 mod adding the ability to hover everywhere, basically being a copy of the Mechsuit then. Or a mod just simply unlocking direct dlc content ...

Do stationary space stations encounter asteroids or just loose ressource chunks? I.e. will i need defense on my space science station? =)
Depends on what planet your platform stays at. Take a look at factoriopedia and it will tell you about the expected asteroids for a planets orbit ...

better RGB-Picker and Color implementation
TL;DR
Color-coding things in Factorio is annoying.
What ?
I love coloring things to have another level of identifying things. With the changes of parametrised blueprints and trains picking the color of their destination stop, I became already depressed by thinking about using the RGB-Picker ...

Re: Friday Facts #389 - Train control improvements
I never liked the rgb-picker to mix the color representing the item i have in mind, especially when i have to do it multiple times and have to remember the rgb values to mix the same color. Would be awesome to have a button in the rgb-menu which opens the list of things in the game. You can pick ...

Hello Bob,
First of all thank you for the amazing work done.
I just have a question, shouldn't all bearings need lubricant?
Like the steel bearing and cobalt steel bearing, the other 3 bearings need lubricant.
in theory, yes they should. However... the steel and cobolt steel bearings are ...

I'm excited to start a new run once Bio and Industries is out. I think the new .17 updates will make a run so much more fun. Also, I need a Crawler in my life. Too bad Industries is last. :D

Re: [0.17] Please post bugs and balance issues here.
Bug (you're probably aware of, but just to make sure): The Fast Inserter technology only needs the first science pack and unlocks the Express Inserter recipe (at least the research screen says so). Yet, the Express Inserters need to be crafted with materials which are far out of reach at this ...
