as an update i was able to restart the game and reload the save and had no further problems

after loading a map from version 1.1.94 in 2.0 the game started awarding achivements (solar power) then froze and i had to kill it from the task maanger

Game VErsion: 2.0.8(build 79416. linux64)
save version: 1.1.94-0 Base mod only

i had a similar problem with a modded 16.51>17.5 import.
i was able to "downpatch" to 17.0 then import the 16.51 save file, then repatch to 17.5
i did not try loading the 16.51 save file in anything other than 17.0 or 17.5
