Seconded that this should be fixed. It is unexpected behaviour, is not a problem for rotating, and, while it's rare, it can make certain blueprints ugly in a way that's very annoying to fix manually (this just came up for me).
Rseding is correct in that a tile "just is" - the way concrete rotating ...

Re: [0.17.54] Heavier trains sometimes have a higher top speed
Weight overcomes air resistance. Not a bug IMO.
That would make sense for justifying a longer stopping distance, but not a top speed. The energy input (force) is the same, so surely each train would have the same kinetic energy, but not the same top speed (F=MA). There's a reason sports cars ...

[0.17.54] Heavier trains sometimes have a higher top speed
I was investigating train top speed and discovered something that doesn't make any sense.
When testing with coal, I found that the train's top speed was higher if I used a denser wagon.
1 locomotive (coal) + 1 cargo wagon = top speed 258.6
1 locomotive (coal) + 1 locomotive (no fuel) = top speed ...

[0.17.52] Internal assembler buffer too low.
TL:DR; Inserters wait if an assembler has 'enough' materials in it, however they don't take crafting speed into consideration, so it runs out of materials between inserter swings, meaning it definitely never had 'enough'.

[0.17.36] incorrect tooltip for uranium mining speed
I saw that electric mining drills now display the mining speed as X/s. Specifically 0.5/s by default.
When placed over coal and uranium, they give the same reading:
