Re: Friday Facts #437 - Cargo Pod Deep Dive
Good job making this so extensible. I look forward to somebody modding in orbit to orbit deliveries and/or orbital rendezvous.
Yes! That should be an option. It would probably make some tasks slightly easier (Promethium? you could have a shuttle of meteorites and then process actual science ...

Re: [2.0.7] Frequent FPS slowdowns during gameplay
Probably at this point is a bit worthless report, but M1 Max 32GB RAM, UPS is all good, FPS get those 1-2 seconds slowdowns, I think it's only for certain areas.

Hype train is so real, thank you for all the Friday Facts that lead up to this moment. Trailer, the soundtrack, can't wait to experience the thing and see how it works for me.

I concur with both things that were said in here.

Re: Friday Facts #426 - Resource search & Assembler GUI improvements
Lovely changes.
Map resource markers I used to do manually, great that I can skip that mundane work and just use built-in.
Throughput calc at first I read as "crafting through recipe tooltip" and I was like "wtf does it do?????" but now I know and again β I love it!

Thank you raiguard and Wube for all that non-flashy (not you, Sway) work that really brings joy to users. Much appreciated.
Also, FWIW I second that the rarity tier names as seen in screenshots could be revised.

Re: Friday Facts #406 - Space Age Music
I love the fact that Wube is such a dedicated company and the OG Factorio gave it enough leeway to pursue whatever they consider appropriate, such an interesting "closure" to have a fully virtual experience all about scale and what not, pollution, machinery etc and then there's that humanity aspect ...

Re: [1.1.13] Sporadic double-click collapsing when using Steam launcher
~10% of the time factorio is launched via Steam, clicking once on anything in factorio doesn't register and a second click is required. When double-clicking on interface buttons, inventory slots, etc. in these launches the game responds as expected when you single click. It stays this way for as ...

Re: Factorio (Server) ARM Build
Just found out Oracle Cloud always free tier is up to 4 ARM cores & 24GB RAM, I wanted to shutdown the old laptop I have and transition to cloud with all the 24/7 but low performance (it's core 2 duo 3G RAM) workloads but turned Factorio is a showstopper.

I understand that stone furnace doesn't need it, but that one does to easier compare cost with electric.
