I played around with a bowed 4 way cross after seeing some other examples and it has slightly higher performance. It's also single chunk aligned:

While trying to build my own compact 4 way intersection, I stumbled upon two separate versions that are slightly faster. The fastest trades ease of driving for a little higher score.

I was playing Factorio tonight with a friend. They just added a logistic request for some items, when the game desync'ed. Everytime after that, as soon as they connected the game would immediately desync, no matter what I did with my player character (enabling/disabling logistics, moving around ...
