If it comes down to perceived character control vs biters hitting at a distance, i'd take getting hit at a distance. Its near impossible to dodge spit or retreat into a 1x wall opening while in battle. Removing players responsiveness is always a negative.

Since the multiplayer megapacket update, being in battle has resulted in what seems like input lag. Im not alone in noticing this, it makes dodging spit and retreating into 1x wall opening near impossible. with the help of players on the server we boiled it down to decon of assemblers with filters update: tested with ghost outside bot network and able to decon fine, is only a issue while in a network or personal roboport. update 2: attempting to pick up assembler with filtered item for upgrade causes ...

[0.17.x] desync while decon

MP server full vanilla. I can rejoin the server but attempting the same decon will desync me and only me.
