Re: Friday Facts #442 - Flip, Flow, and Fresh Paint
Getting rid of the "Space Casino" is the best thing to see here. I always viewed it as a cheaty exploit and refused to ever do it.
How will the change make the game more fun for you?
How do you feel about other people being upset at it's removal?
I've never heard an answer to these ...

I think they look great! They're so much better than the old versions~CheeseMcBurger wrote: Fri Jun 12, 2026 12:34 pm The new stromatolites and especially the new Vulcanos rocks look bad.

Pumpjacks easier placement
Would be nice if pumpjacks placed when you clicked on any of the 9 tiles instead of just the center one. They're rather annoying to have to be so pinpoint accurate with.

[2.0.68] Flipped underground belts with upgrade planner
When using a belts upgrade planner on a blueprint in the blueprint book UI, it will flip the underground's belts rotation:

Re: Blueprint Assmebler Recipes Wiped
Nevermind. It doesn't show assembler recipes in blueprints if alt-mode is turned off. I had no idea, I always play with it on. That's why I only saw on new files

Re: Blueprint Assmebler Recipes Wiped
It's not that the recipes are there with the red cancel mark; the recipes are wiped clean. It's just blank assemblers. No gears & red science assemblers, just blank assemblers.

Blueprint Assmebler Recipes Wiped
I wiped all my mods out except for base game in preparation for vanilla. Then when loading into a new world, all the recipes from my blueprint book were wiped. All the entities are correct, but the assemblers & chem. plants recipes are gone. They're just blank now.

Re: Friday Facts #415 - Fix, Improve, Optimize
Lots of times I'll place a blueprint down next to me, and it takes a while for my personal bots to realize they're the closest. Hopefully this fixes the issue, but if it doesn't , could you set robots in personal equipment grids (i.e., Players, Spiders) to be checked first? Generally if i place a ...

Could we rename the rocket weapons to missiles? Just to avoid confusion with space-launched rockets.

What in the world is that weird icon in the Vulcanus overview screenshot? It looks like a mix between a fish and an explosion; I've not seen anyone else talk about it. Does anyone have an idea what it is

Wonderful update and feature! That foundry is one big spendy boi, but I'm glad. Nice to have big items to build towards, esp infrastructure.

Re: Friday Facts #393 - Putting things on top of other things
This FFF sure is quite stacked 8-)
Not quite sure how I feel about the change, but I'm sure I'll grow accustomed to it. Seeing different stack sizes on a belt looks bizarre, but that shouldn't happen often, only when they're being consumed by inputs. I think the mock-up graphic had me worried, but ...

Some Factorio Suggestions from a Loving Fan
Factorio Suggestions:
Landfill is way too expensive; could be 8 or 10 stone, or if productivity modules were involved (outside of furnaces)
Having a well that allows the place access to water on demand, but biters could still walk over or destroy so you can’t just make a big moat.
