Thanks for responding, at least knowing the release time is helpful. 😊

Newsletter delivered very late

I don't know if this type is issue is for this forum, so handle it how you will, but: I get my newsletter announcing Friday Facts being out much later than my friend, maybe 4-5 hours later (4:30pm UK time last week). I'm keen to read it when it comes out, so, like today, if my friend doesn't alert m...

Re: Friday Facts #409 - Diminishing beacons

The post doesn't really explain how the new beacon maths affects the "old" builds. You've clearly said that single beacon builds work nicely, but have you solved the original goal stated? Is 1 assembler and 12 beacons now less productive than 5 assemblers and 7 beacons? What's the optimal ...

Re: Friday Facts #408 - Statistics improvements, Linux adventures

Finally the accumulator charge graphs! Fabulous. I'm not totally convinced about the new production filter UI. The sizing and brightness of controls gives more prominence for fiddling around with quality views than global vs surface view, when the likely relative importance to the player is the othe...

Re: Friday Facts #403 - Train stops 2.0

This was all wonderful. I think remote controlling trains should be behind a slightly advanced tech.

Re: Turn off Demo sounds when viewing Map generator with Preview

Alternatively, provide a sound option to always mute the start screen.

Re: Turn off Demo sounds when viewing Map generator with Preview

I'm fine for the requirement to be "when a window is open, mute the start screen".

Colour-label all train stations in the tutorials

Some of the tutorials have colour-labelling for the trains/train stations, and others do not. As a partly colour-blind person, and the fact that the trains have mixed/muted colours, I found it difficult to see which trains should go to which train stops. I request that all tutorials with trains cons...

Turn off Demo sounds when viewing Map generator with Preview

If you open the Preview in the map generator, setting up the map becomes full screen, but the little demos on the start screen are still playing in the background, and you hear all the sounds from it. I find this annoying when I'm trying to concentrate on setting myself up a map. I'd suggest to mute...

[0.17.25] Pollution not dissipating

I'm in the latest release and my entire base is powered down (0 production, 0 satisfaction). However full pollution is still being created. Is this a known issue?

Re: Friday Facts #282 - 0.17 in sight

I've created an account just to say I'm honestly humbled by how brilliant the Factorio team is. Almost every FFF leaves me fist pumping the air. Such intelligent and well thought out design and improvements, combined with incredible programming and brilliantly articulated blog posts. Simply wonderfu...
