Re: pY Petroleum Handling

what is PA?

edit:

I hope you don't mean Particle Accelerator... Because Particle Accelerator also requires Advanced Small Parts. Still deadlocked.

Re: pY Petroleum Handling

I'm using full Py suite, so I'm not sure if this is caused by PyPH or potentially PyRO, but i think i hit a deadlock. Molybdenum requires Ball Mill to produce Molybdenum dust, Ball Mill requires Assembly machine 2, Assembly Machine 2 requires Advance Small Parts, Advanced Small Parts require Stainle...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion

As far as I'm concerned, the solution would be to ensure that each tier consumes less raw ore than the previous one. The way I look at the higher tiers is that you're exchanging part of the ore cost from the actual ore to other resources, so the high tier recipes shouldn't be some fancy productivit...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion

Zinc production is fuckin wack. Using the liquid zinc to plates recipe, to make just 20 zinc plates you need: 250x zinc ore 250x iron plates 1000x heavy oil 30x sand castings 30x limestone and you have some trace amounts of soil, stone, sand and tailings to deal with. Orrrr i could just smelt 120x ...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion

That's not really the problem tho, the problem is having recipes that are unlocked with green/red science being absolutely useless. There is no reason to ever, ever use that intermediate molten zinc recipe, because its exponentially worse than basic smelting. Blue science however opens up a much bet...

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion

Soooo how do you actually make acetylene? i know why. because we have researched coal processing 1 before the update, so the recipe for acetylene and calcium carbide is not unlocked properly after the update. i use this command to unlock it /c game.player.force.recipes["calcium-carbide"]....

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion

Any reason why pressurized air is locked behind silicon doping? Its needed for the tar->coal-gas recipe, and coal-gas is super needed early game now since its required for aluminium mining and and the better glass recipes among other things.

Re: pY Raw Ores Discussion

Yo! I made a working RSO config file and posted it over on the RSO discussion here -> https://forums.factorio.com/viewtopic.php?f=79&t=63851&p=389534#p389534 it at least gets the starting ores spawning correctly, and thins out the big rocks pretty well, but will still need some work. Will ne...

Re: Py Raw Ores came out

So, I didn't want to wait anymore, and i think Py and Nexela are focusing on bug fixing for now, so I made a makeshift config file that is working. Should be decent enough, and sets the proper starting materials, and should make the big rocks much less frequent and spread out. Only problem I can't s...
