Re: ChokePoint Enhanced

Ah ok, thanks for the reply. I tried a dozen different formats with game reloads in between, I never got an error but I also never got a noticeable effect (I also ran Alien Biomes). Anyway if that's the right syntax I guess I'm stuck waiting for an in-game dropdown. Thanks again. There will never be...

Re: [MOD 0.16-0.17] Diplomacy

This is a great mod! Works perfectly but haven't really had the chance to use it. We're about to fire up a v17 multiteam map, maybe with Biter Factions and Will o Wisp, that hopefully will really lean on this. Edit: non-player forces dont show up on the GUI, any way to add? Re: Friday Facts #286 - Pollution cleanup

FWIW I create v17 cliffs everywhere and if I'm not careful about pollution I get overrun even late game (lots of biter mods). I play with poor patches so turtling isnt an option. Now I dont see myself auditing my outpost ammo or anything, but this is still useful transparency into what imho was a co...

Re: [MOD 0.13] Black Market (sell and buy on the market)

Just a quick reminder about mod settings, this mod has a well-documented config.lua file you can open with any text editor (even Notepad) and this lets you change things like disabling the infamous energy sell, tweaking the pricing formula, or changing taxes. I'm sure this is obvious to most, but I'...

Re: The Green Dilemma

Didnt see anyone mention mods, but Nauvis Day is an example of one that makes pollution much more impactful. Forests die, lakes become unusable, etc. More generally, any mods or config changes that makes biters a more significant threat counts. The bigger the biter threat, the bigger the cost of pol...
