So, it works if you're PLACING it but NOT if you're EDITING it? I'm really trying to resist throwing my PC through the wall...
And, you're right it DOES work that way. I am EXTREMELY angry that I couldn't find ANY reference to how this is supposed to actually WORK or how to USE it. I REALLY miss ...

Re: Blueprint flipping not working at all
I deleted the game then deleted the game directory and did a clean install. The only "mod" installed is "base.mod" which comes with the game. After that I did Steam thing to verify the game files. They came back clean.

Blueprint flipping not working at all
I cannot get ANY blueprints to flip, no matter how simple they are. It won't even flip a blueprint that's just one line of belt. I created that as the simplest test case I could imagine. I've tried flipping numerous of my blueprints and it has never worked for me. And I'm using the default F and G ...

Re: Version 0.18.38
I agree that part of what I said was factually incorrect. You can, in fact, still copy a blueprint. I don't think having to open the blueprint editor to copy it makes much sense. But you can copy it. It's just another step you have to go through. One that is hidden within the blueprint editor and ...

Re: Version 0.18.38
I think it was a good idea to overhaul the blueprint library. Even though there were just a few weeks until 1.0 . It was one of the most wanted features and most people will get used to the new behaviour in just a few days.
I doubt very much that I'll get used to this new blueprint manager ...

Re: Version 0.18.38
I must be missing something with this update. I want my blueprints to STAY in the blueprint book when I want to use some of the blueprints. I do NOT like that it REMOVES the blueprint from the book if you pull it into your inventory. Is there some way I can FORCE the blueprint to STAY in the ...

Add reflect button(s) to blueprint editor
I love Factorio. I must do because I've spent over 3000 hours playing it.
I have a suggestion for a new feature for the blueprint editor GUI. This feature would add a button (or two) to the blueprint editor to reflect the blueprint in the horizontal or vertical axis.
Why would I want this? I ...

Orthogonal mouse restriction key(s)
First, thanks very much for creating such an awesome game!
Second, apologies if this has been suggested before. I did search for "ortho" and "belt" but didn't find an entry like this.
My suggestion is to have a key to hold while placing belts that will restrict the mouse cursor to either ...

Re: Am I missing something?
Thanks, I'll do that. I can't believe I missed that, lol. I must have spent five minutes looking in the various filter panels for it.

Am I missing something?
I've played Factorio for a good while but a situation arose that surprised me. I'm playing on 0.16.51 at the moment. I wanted to use a stack filter inserter to separate stone bricks (among other things) from steel that got massively contaminated with other things. But I found that the filter setting ...

Re: Friday Facts #258 - New autoplace
This is my first post here. I've played Factorio since version 0.8 (I think) and I LOVE this game. You guys rock! I can't wait for 0.17!
