Re: [2.0.15] Discrepancy in Updage time usage breakdowns
Hi, I'm curious whether you figured out what was going on and / or how to interpret the missing time. I'm interested in learning how to better interpret the debug statistics for performance troubleshooting purposes.

Re: [2.0.14][macOS] Massive performance regression versus 1.1.110 when zoomed in
Internally, we are currently discussing when we can drop compatibility with MacOS X 10.10, so that we can update C++ compiler, so that we can use some C++ 20 standard library classes and functions. By all means, please drop support for macOS 10.10, please! macOS 10.10 Yosemite has not received a si...

Any update on this issue @vinzenz @posila?
(Is there another way to tag users or maybe I just don't have permissions to do so? In the preview it doesn't look like it's tagging.)

Re: Who's going peaceful for their first run?
I will try playing Deathworld Marathon on this map. Because I like pain! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3352531997 Wow, that doesn't look survivable! It would actually be quite fun to see a playthrough of something like this to see how an expert player would handle it. A spe...

Re: Friday Facts #429 - Vulcanus Demolisher Enemies
Is it me, though, or does there seem to be a lot of work left before the expansion launches in just one month? I hope they're able to finish it all up in time. I'm guessing there might be several significant patches post-launch to tweak things that don't make it for the 2.0 launch. AFAIK, the game ...

Re: Friday Facts #429 - Vulcanus Demolisher Enemies
Looks cool, and I'm not generally a fan of biters / combat in the game right now. New enemy abilities like this will encourage me to leave enemies on when I play. Is it me, though, or does there seem to be a lot of work left before the expansion launches in just one month? I hope they're able to fin...

Re: Friday Facts #425 - Behind the legs
I like the look behind the curtain, but the choice of topic also makes me wonder a bit: There are only 8 more FFFs to come until release, assuming the release date stays as it is, and there is still a lot of ground to cover: Enemies on Vulcanus (as hinted in the last paragraph if this FFF) Fulgora ...

Re: Friday Facts #419 - Display Panel & Inserter pickup fixes
What's with the displays being so tiny ? Why can't I have a giant display, a stadium-sized display? Yes, the largest ever CRT (according to Wikipedia) is only 43", but maybe it could be made with the ultra low resolution using individual bulbs which in my memory seems to have been typical of gi...

Re: Friday Facts #413 - Gleba
I kept looking at the post over and over the whole weekend and I've come up to some personal conclusions: That seems unnecessarily harsh. I'm sure it'll turn out great. There does seem to be quite a bit of work left to do, and we know Wube are perfectionists. I was hoping for an Autumn release (nor...

Re: Lag in Big Sur
This is a super necro but this thread feels very relevant to my current issue and I was wondering if anyone got to the bottom of this issue or if it improved? I'm going to make a new post with details, but I'm starting a new factory on the latest 1.1.x and my FPS is stuttery and feels awful around t...

Re: Friday Facts #388 - Smaller things for 2.0
I wonder why you didn't go one step further with visualizing the max belt range. While hovering in the range of the matched underground belt, display BOTH max range (blue) and selected range if the belt was placed where hovering (green). See the image. With what you have now you still have the prob...

Re: [0.18.45] Energy weapons damage and Laser turret shooting speed don't say they affect personal laser defense
Your post is very timely, as I JUST started launching rockets and getting space science yesterday (many, many hours into my first base!) and I was confused by this as I was selecting infinite research options. Thanks for confirming that personal laser is affected by the research, because I don't use...

Re: Friday Facts #359 - Crash site: The beginning
there is mod called squeak through that allows walking between most entities, i use it for most of my modded games, some mods are incompatible. ideally the devs could make it so that most entities hit box was slightly smaller to allow this functionality natively. imo walking through the small space...

Maybe at minimum the size and brightness of the indicator light could be increased? It's not easy to see.

Re: Blueprint Library Feedback
What if, as a small design tweak, the devs made the following change: Assume a BP is in inventory and currently linked on the hotbar. When a player moves the BP from inventory to the library, what if the game automatically deletes the hotbar link? To me, silently updating the hotbar link that once ...
