Hi, I'd like to ask some info about the field 'track_type' in https://wiki.factorio.com/Prototype/AmbientSound
This lets the game know in what instances the audio file is played. Possible values:
"early-game"
"main-track"
"interlude"
"late-game"
"menu-track"
I think this description already ...

Rseding said that because ownlyme was requesting this feature to use it for a usecase that was completely unsupported. That is what he said he "doesn't care" about. ownlyme took it personally and escalated it.

FYI, Ownlyme has linked this topic as (part of) explanation of why he's stopping modding, and I have to say: without knowing the context, this topic as-is looks like a big embarassment for the dev team. Small mod developer makes a totally sensible request, then a dev tells "We don't care" then list ...

Indeed with 17% biters spawn close enough but for some reason starting resources don't spawn anymore. They only do at 25% or above, not sure if this is normal. I use RSO mod and made a few tweaks on starting resources (mostly disabling everything except iron and coal).

Hi,
I am tweaking worldgen and wonder if it's possible to allow biters to spawn in start area ? My end goal is to make it so that you are immediatly close to enemy bases when spawning but also have a few resources to start with.

If I may say, the thing I don't like with the new sprite is that it doesn't look like "usual" cooling towers
