I voted for a new design. I don't like the old one, and I don't particularly care for the new one.

I love trains, and personal bots, but for me, just like the OP, I love auto-save the most. It has helped me before on a few occasions.

Train-out-of-fuel warning is too late already. We need a Train-burning-its-last-fuel warning so that we can redirect the train to somewhere it can refuel *before* it halts completely.
