Re: Friday Facts #327 - 2020 Vision
Finally I had some time to read the FF#327.

So I had to do the very hard thing, and telling the people that worked on it, that we are scrapping it, and in 0.18 we will switch to using the old tutorials again.
Put that decission over the table is hard ...

Re: Upcycling for Stone Furnaces
I use them to produce Steel. As far as I know, steel is produced IRL using coal: Global steel production is dependent on coal. Over 71% of the steel produced today uses coal. Metallurgical coal β or coking coal β is a vital ingredient

Re: [0.17.0] Campaign 1 Observations
Got 2 more issues. Maybe someone told already
- If you 'CNTRL+LeftClick' on the feeder with an item, it says 'unknown key: gui not operable'
I'm sure it's a temporary issue related to new version, but anyway I say it.

Re: [0.17.0] Campaign 1 Observations
Hi, I finished the campaign yesterday, and here are my thoughts (as I continue my last post)
11 - Rebuild the factory
- I've put items in the toolbelt, but I don't know how to remove them. Finally tried middle mouse and it worked, but some hint would be nice.
Or maybe it is already said and I ...

Re: [0.17.0] Campaign 1 Observations
We do tell the player these things, but you did it yourself before it wanted to tell you. I specifically did not want to tell the player anything they already have figured out.
Oh! Ok, my mistake then.
there should be some cool stuff that the player can figure out on their own
Hmm you have a ...

Re: [0.17.0] Campaign 1 Observations
I know the campaign design and player teaching process is a difficult task, but I think is fundamental, or players will be discouraged.
For me, the most crucial (difficult) parts of the game were the beginning steps, the oil setup, and the advanced science.
Like the Compilatron concept, it's some ...

Re: Friday Facts #247 - Pricing and its exploits
I've seen the trailer and I was like "omg, a Factorio in 3D, awesome!!". For me it looks like a mix of No Man Sky/Subnautica with Factorio, and I love that combination (although I didn't like NMS very much in the end). Let's see how it evolves. And as seen from previous comments, probably I will ...
